This album was experty cut using high precision half-speed mastering at AIR Mastering.
Half-speed mastering is a vinyl cutting technique that improves groove accuracy and transient information creating an incredibly detailed stereo image with a natural high frequency response.
Released in June 1990 and widely considered one of the definitive electronic albums of its era, Electribal Memories delivered the trailblazing and definitive singles ‘Tell Me When The Fever Ended’, ‘Talking With Myself’, ‘You’re Walking’ and a startling interpretation of the Odyssey classic ‘Inside Out’.

This release was mastered at half-speed using transfers of the master tapes. The equipment at AIR Mastering uses balanced mains power for improved performance and lower noise and the digital equipment is locked in to an extremely accurate digital clock to reduce jitter. The Neumann VMS80 lathes and cutting amplifiers used have been fully renovated and modified to enable half-speed mastering.
